CONCORD-The New Hampshire Department of Employment Security is pleased to announce the relocation of the NH Works Keene Local Office to 149 Emerald Street in Keene effective Wednesday, November 18th.

The new office is located in close proximity to downtown and is on an existing bus route making the new office readily accessible for local residents without private transportation.

The NH Works Keene Local Office will continue to provide uninterrupted services throughout the relocation. Staff will continue to be available to provide services and assist customers at the existing location at 109 Key Road through and including Tuesday, November 17th.

Starting on Wednesday, November 18th services will be available at the new location at 149 Emerald Street.

To the extent possible, customers are encouraged to avoid visiting either the old or new office during the move. Customers are reminded they have through and including Saturday to file their claim for unemployment benefits for the prior week.

The Department of Employment Security (NHES) provides free public Employment Services through a statewide network of Job and Information Centers, providing a broad range of assisted and self-directed employment and career related services and labor market information to all customers as well as paying Unemployment Compensation benefits in a timely manner to eligible claimants.
