New Hampshire Employment Security is proud to sponsor the Derry Job Fair being held on November 18th 2013 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Marion Gerrish Community Center located at 39 West Broadway Derry, NH.

A number of hiring employers and community partners from a wide assortment of industries will be on hand to speak with job seekers. These employers are looking to fill an array of positions, including Military Opportunities, Insurance Sales Agents, IT Specialists, LNA, LPN, RN, Machine Operators, Machinists, Manufacturing Engineers, Independent Beauty Consultants, Restaurant Cooks, Warehouse Personnel, Customer Service Agents, and Delivery Drivers to name a few. A number of community partners will be available to discuss educational opportunities and the multitude of services they provide.

"Events like the Derry Job Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are an invaluable part of our efforts to strengthen our innovation economy," Governor Maggie Hassan said. "By supporting and hosting this job fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to build a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire."

This Job Fair is another effort by NHES to stimulate NH’s economy, make our local employers more successful, and get the unemployed and under-employed back to work, says New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner Copadis.

NHES provides free services, resources, and tools to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search process, hiring and employment needs. NHES has services available online and onsite to assist job seekers including an automated Job Match System, internet access, local papers, employment counseling, and career assessments, as well as, workshops on job searching, résumé writing and interviewing techniques.
