While this job fair will feature specific assistance to veterans and military spouses, the event is open to all job seekers and hiring employers.
NH Employment Security (NHES) is joining with the New Hampshire Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), The New Hampshire Veterans Administration, the American Legion, and the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, to host the job fair.
“Far too many of our veterans have struggled to find work when returning home, and our Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair will help connect New Hampshire’s highly skilled veterans with employers who are looking to hire," Governor Maggie Hassan said. "New Hampshire's veterans have sacrificed to defend our freedom, and they deserve every measure of support we can provide. I thank New Hampshire Employment Security, the National Guard, the American Legion, and all of the Hiring Our Heroes partners for making this job fair possible and helping our veterans find good jobs."
To meet the many needs of veterans and the citizens of New Hampshire, NHES Commissioner George Copadis stated, “I am pleased to have NH Employment Security work in collaboration with the New Hampshire Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), The New Hampshire Veterans Administration, the American Legion, and the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service to provide an opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers and resources, and also provide access for employers to qualified and trained individuals. Our veterans obtained various competencies and developed a strong work ethic that any employer would desire in an employee through the course of their service to our country. We are committed to ensuring that we are here for our veterans as they have been there for us.”
This job fair is a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring event for employers, veterans and all job seekers.
